I was a caregiver for 4 years before I found No Worries. I started working at No Worries and after a year knew this was the company I wanted my career with. I love caregiving but have always been drawn to the administrative side of things. In 2017, I came into the office to discuss my hopes of becoming an accountant and after just a few classes they took me in and started training me to become the bookkeeper. In 2019, I was given the opportunity to also become the Office Manager and I said YES! I loved being able to have more interactions with our clients and caregivers in the Office Manager role. Then, in 2021 I was offered to start training for the role of Assistant Administrator and have learned so much about our client services and Oregon Administrative Rules and the whys of how we do everything! As of 2023, I have completed my 2 years of Assistant Administrator training. No Worries is a company that truly cares about their caregivers and clients, and it is an honor to work here.
In September 2021 I found out I was pregnant. I was so excited to announce it to everyone. My co-workers were all SO supportive! In May 2022 I had my baby boy, RJ. While I was on maternity leave the other admin staff set up an entire nursery in the office for me as childcare can be so expensive and with it being my first baby, I really didn’t want to put him into childcare. I came back to a rocking chair, soft rug, pack and play (with changing station and bassinet attachments), dimmable light, baby monitor, and a swing with a mobile attached. It has been such a blessing to be able to bring him into the office with me when needed. He has ranged being here 1-3 days a week depending on current circumstances. My co-workers quickly become his Aunties and we are so fortunate to have so much support personally and professionally. He is the sweetest little boy and the absolute light of my life!
