Melinda’s Notes (Community Newsletter) – January 11, 2021

Hello. Thank you to all our Clients, Caregivers, Administrative Team, and everyone who refers to us for making it possible for No Worries to be celebrating 24 years in business. Our unique company culture of caring for our Clients and caring for each other by showing gratitude and being aware of when help is needed has resulted in longevity that is unusual in our Industry. For example, in a few weeks we will be celebrating Stacy’s 19th Anniversary with No Worries. Stacy was a Caregiver for 10 years before joining our Administrative Team as Scheduling Manager. Last year presented many challenges with COVID, and forest fires that came very close to staff and clients’ homes. No Worries also had a new challenge with not being able to hire Caregivers due to COVID. Our Caregivers have worked extra to cover for Caregiver time off and emergencies. They have sacrificed a lot and in November I made the decision to use some money in our savings account to pay the Caregivers a $2/hour appreciation bonus. We are continuing this bonus through the end of January. Our Caregivers feel appreciated and we have been able to hire again. I could not have predicted the events of the last year but the key to our success has been an Administrative Team that prepares as much as possible for challenges, responds quickly to any situation, and Caregivers who are dedicated, skilled and caring.
